November 27 & 28- No School for Students/Staff (Thanksgiving Break)

New Chromebooks for Grade 5 students have arrived. Over next week, our teachers in grade 5 will be issuing new devices, chargers and cases to all grade 5 students. The district does a device refresh in grades 5 and once again in grade 9. Parents and Guardians, please help us our by reminding your child to ensure they have their device, case and charger in school each day next week. They will need to exchange each of these items to receive a new chromebook, case and charger.

Students that currently have a damaged device or missing charger can go see Mr. Vallera in the main office for insurance, repair or a new charger prior to turning in their device. Families will incur a charge for any damaged devices or missing chargers during the deployment.

 8th Grade Celebration Planning Starts NOW! 

We’re gearing up to make this year’s 8th Grade Celebration unforgettable, and we need you to help make the magic happen! We’re forming an 8th Grade Parent Celebration Committee, and all enthusiastic, creative, and supportive parents are invited to join.

Our first meeting is December 4th at 6:00 PM — location coming soon!

The JWMS Student Council is organizing a Food Drive and Kindness Week and here are the logistics for the next two weeks.

⚠️ Important: Early Release Days for JWMS

To ensure the building is fully ready for Phase II of the renovation project and open for instruction on Monday, January 5, John Wallace Middle School will need to implement a series of Early Release Days prior to the holiday break.

Thank you in advance for your flexibility and support as we complete this critical transition to Phase II of the Wallace Renovation Project. We are very excited about the new spaces that await our students.

Tickets for the Harlem Wizards vs. our very own Wallace Alley-Hoopers this March will be going on sale soon!

Last time, we sold out — and we anticipate the same excitement this year!

You won’t want to miss this incredible community event filled with fun basketball antics, teamwork, and laughter.
